August 4th is celebrated as Coast Guard Day to honor all of the men and women who have served or currently serve in the U.S. Coast Guard. It is primarily an internal celebration for activity duty Coast Guard personnel, civilian members, reservists, retirees, auxiliarists and family members. It does have a significant share of interest outside the service and is celebrated frequently with the community.
With the flag waving proudly as the backdrop, a big "Thank You!" draws attention to this beautiful appreciation gift for Coast Guardsmen. You can customize this lovely plaque with personal sentiment, USCG seal, to make it a truly unique gift for Coasties.
These exceptional men and women in the United States Coast Guard deserve all our gratitude and appreciation for their tireless work at home and around the globe.
USCG Officer's Name
Division Officer, Ninth Coast Guard District
Our thanks to you for all you do
Defending our flag the red, white and blue
As Americans, we know what freedom means
The joy, the peace and the right to dream
Freedom we love but it is not free
The sacrifice is great and you give willingly
May God keep you safe in all that you do
And bring you back home to those who love you!
