I loved that this was solid crystal, not a resin or acrylic. The sizing is perfect; it's not too big to go on one's desk or credenza.

I literally stumbled upon the DIY Awards site when I googled for gifts for a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice). I looked at what they offered and began customizing it. I had reservations about the "crystal" they said they would etch in. You never know how people classify the etching surface; some use acrylic and say its crystal in appearance, but DIY Awards, used solid Optical Crystal/Black Crystal.
I chose the cathedral shaped plaque and couldn't be happier. It was the best gift he received, other than his Doctorate.
